Mission Statement of the California State PTA

Saddleback Valley PTA Council is comprised of 24 elementary schools, two high schools and one special-day school in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District.

Our council encompasses the cities of Mission Viejo, Lake Forest, Laguna Hills, and Rancho Santa Margarita.

We have approximately 11,000 PTA members within our Council. Our council theme is "Building a Strong PTA". We are accomplishing this through training, advocacy and working together.

to the following Reflections award recipients:

Evan Barraza, a 5th grader from de Portola won the Award of Merit at the State Level in the Intermediate Visual Arts catagory. His work is a watercolor/charcoal entitled, "My Favorite Place is where my family is.."

Remo Abboud, a second grader, also from de Portola, won the Award of Excellence at the State Level in the Primary Visual Arts category. His entry, a tissue paper collage, is entitled "Undersea Life." It was announced at the California State PTA convention that his entry earned the National PTA Award of Excellence. Remo has been invited to the National PTA Convention in June, in St. Louis, Missouri, where the award will be presented. We are SO proud of Remo!!!
